  Let's Encrypt free certificates (valid for 90 days) are free, while Sectigo professional certificates (valid for 365 days) require payment

• 2. Why do certificate applications or renewals sometimes fail?

  • Rate limits: All free certificates applied for in CertOne are issued by Let's Encrypt. Let's Encrypt has certain frequency limits on certificate applications or renewals for the same domain within a certain time period. Too many or too frequent certificate applications or renewals within a certain time period may cause failures, but this situation is almost never encountered when using certificate services at normal frequencies, so please proceed with confidence.   • Non-standard CNAME resolution: Some DNS domain resolution service providers have non-standard CNAME resolution, which prevents domain ownership verification and leads to certificate application failure. It is recommended to change DNS domain resolution service providers (such as Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud, etc.)
  • CNAME resolution does not exist: The CNAME resolution added when applying for certificates using DNS authorization-free verification cannot be deleted, otherwise it will cause certificate application or renewal failure. If it has been deleted, please re-add it and try again
  • Insufficient account balance: Professional certificate applications and all certificate renewals consume balance. Please ensure sufficient balance in your account

• 3. What time does the certificate automatic renewal service and automatic deployment service run each day?

  CertOne runs certificate automatic renewal, deployment, and monitoring services at midnight every day, but due to the large task volume, they will be executed in a queue

• 4. Is there a limit on the number of deployment nodes for a single certificate in the certificate automatic deployment service?

  There is no limit

• 5. Under what circumstances will CertOne balance be consumed?
